Terms & Conditions for MAZTours Participants
By booking and participating in our tours, you (the “Participant”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions set forth by MAZTours (“Company”):

1. Booking & Payment
a. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.
b. All bookings are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Changes to tour dates may be possible but are subject to availability and additional fees.
c. Prices do not include attraction tickets, meals, drinks, or personal expenses unless explicitly mentioned in the tour package.

2. General Agreement
a. By joining the tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
b. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental/guardian consent if under 18 minorities are present.
c. MAZTours reserves the right to modify or cancel any tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather conditions, road closures, or safety concerns.

3. Ticket Exclusions & Entry Fees
a. Attraction tickets and activity fees are NOT included in the tour price unless stated otherwise.
b. MAZTours is not responsible for ticket availability, price changes, or capacity limits at attractions. Participants should purchase tickets in advance when possible.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
a. MAZTours reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, low participant numbers). In such cases, participants will be offered a full refund or a rescheduled tour.
b. No refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by participants, missed activities due to late arrival, or failure to follow the tour schedule.
c. If a participant fails to show up at the designated departure point, the tour will proceed as scheduled, and no refund will be issued.

5. Liability & Assumption of Risk
a. MAZTours is not responsible for any injury, accident, illness, or loss of life during the tour. Participants join at their own risk.
b. Some activities (e.g., hiking, ziplining, boat tours, gondola rides) involve physical exertion or height exposure. By participating, you accept full responsibility for any risks.
c. MAZTours is not liable for injuries resulting from a participant’s failure to follow safety instructions provided by guides, operators, or attraction staff.

6. Personal Belongings & Lost Items
a. MAZTours is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings during the tour. Participants should keep personal items secure at all times.
b. It is recommended that participants avoid bringing valuables or large sums of money.
c. If an item is lost during the tour, MAZTours will make reasonable efforts to assist but does not guarantee recovery.

7. Conduct & Compliance
a. Participants must behave respectfully toward tour guides, fellow travelers, and locals.
b. Any disruptive, disrespectful, or dangerous behavior may result in immediate removal from the tour without a refund.
c. Participants must comply with all local laws, attraction rules, and safety guidelines at all times.

8. Transportation & Delays
a. MAZTours is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.
b. If a participant arrives late, the tour will not wait. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for missed departures.
c. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are at the designated pick-up points on time.

9. Force Majeure
a. MAZTours is not liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or emergencies.

10. Photography & Media Consent
a. MAZTours may take photos or videos during tours for promotional use.
b. By participating, you consent to the use of your image in MAZTours marketing materials, social media, and advertisements, unless you notify us in writing before the tour.

11. Agreement to Terms
a. By booking and participating in a tour with MAZTours, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the tour without a refund.

12. Alcohol & Drug Policy
a. The consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during the tour is strictly prohibited if it poses a safety risk.
b. MAZTours reserves the right to remove intoxicated individuals from the tour without a refund.
c. If a tour includes a winery or brewery visit, participants must be of legal drinking age (19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Quebec) and must provide valid ID upon request.

13. Tour Operator Rights
a. MAZTours reserves the right to:
i. Refuse service to anyone who poses a safety risk or violates company policies.
ii. Modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or operational issues.
iii. Cancel tours with full refunds if minimum group sizes are not met.

14. Legal Disclaimer
a. These Terms & Conditions do not create a legal partnership between MAZTours and participants.
b. Any legal disputes must be settled under the laws of Ontario (or the applicable province where the tour takes place).
